Enjoy a delicious twist on traditional pizza with Tzatziki Chicken Naan Pizzas! These easy-to-make pizzas feature marinated chicken, fresh veggies, and a creamy tzatziki sauce, making them perfect for a quick weeknight meal or a fun gathering with friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large naan breads
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and dried dill to create a marinade.
  4. Coat the chicken strips in the marinade and let sit for 15-20 minutes (or longer in the refrigerator for enhanced flavor).
  5. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken strips for 5-7 minutes until cooked through and golden. Set aside to cool slightly.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Mix until well combined. Optionally, strain the cucumber for a thicker consistency.
  8. Adjust seasoning to taste, adding more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if desired.
  9. Place naan breads on a baking sheet.
  10. Spread tzatziki sauce over each naan, leaving a small border.
  11. Distribute cooked chicken strips evenly over the tzatziki.
  12. Top with halved cherry tomatoes and sliced red onion.
  13. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top.
  14. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until crispy and golden.
  15. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning; the cheese should be slightly melted.
  16. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute.
  17. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
  18. Slice into quarters or halves and serve warm with extra tzatziki on the side.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, consider adding sliced jalapeños or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
  • You can customize the toppings based on your preferences; olives or bell peppers would also work well.
