1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
-
3 garlic cloves, minced
-
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
-
1/4 teaspoon salt
-
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-
1/4 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (optional)
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for topping)
For the Spaghetti:
-
8 oz spaghetti noodles
-
2 cups marinara or your favorite pasta sauce
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
Slice off tops of each roll and hollow out the centers to create bowls.
-
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Brush this garlic butter generously inside the bread bowls and on their tops.
-
Sprinkle with Parmesan if using, then bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and slightly crispy.
-
Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
-
Heat olive oil in a saucepan. Sauté minced garlic and red pepper flakes, then stir in marinara sauce. Add cooked pasta, toss to coat, and season to taste.
-
Spoon spaghetti into garlic bread bowls. Top with shredded mozzarella and more Parmesan.
-
Return to oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
-
Garnish with parsley or basil and serve hot!
Notes
-
You can prep the bread bowls a day ahead—just toast and store in an airtight container.
-
Perfect use for leftover spaghetti—just reheat and load!
-
Try adding cooked sausage, meatballs, or sautéed veggies for extra flavor.
-
Smaller rolls make perfect party-size bowls.
-
