Ingredients
Scale
- 1 round of Brie cheese (about 8 ounces)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup mixed nuts (such as walnuts, pecans, and almonds), roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 baguette or crackers, for serving
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the chopped mixed nuts, fresh rosemary, olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper. Stir until the nuts are well coated with the oil and seasonings.
- Drizzle in the honey and mix again until the nuts are evenly coated. Set this mixture aside while we prepare the Brie.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the round of Brie cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Optionally, slice off the top rind of the Brie for a more intense flavor.
- Spoon the honey nut mixture over the top of the Brie, covering it generously.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and gooey. Keep an eye on it to ensure it doesn’t overcook.
- Let the Brie cool for about 5 minutes after removing it from the oven.
- Slice your baguette into thin rounds or prepare your favorite crackers.
- Place the baked Brie on a serving platter, either whole or sliced into wedges.
- Drizzle extra honey over the top and sprinkle additional chopped nuts for garnish.
- Serve warm with baguette slices or crackers.
Notes
- Choose a high-quality Brie for the best melting results.
- Feel free to experiment with toppings like dried fruits or spices.
- Baked Brie is best enjoyed fresh out of the oven while it’s still warm and gooey.
